BT Young Scientist Exhibition 2017
Well done to 3 Transition Year students Kate Sullivan, Tiffany Qui and Eimear Dalton who represented Mount Sackville Secondary school in the 2017 BT Young Scientist exhibition last week. There were over 2000 entries and only 550 projects were successful on reaching the RDS so this was a great achievement.Their project looked at the difference between Virtual learning and Conventional learning in the classroom. They were judged many times and they got very good feedback from the many people who stopped to look at their project. They had such a great experience at the competition and they would encourage other students to enter next year. They met many well known people there and had their photos taken with them. All of the first years went out to the RDS on Friday to support the girls. The first years were very impressed with the girl’s project and were inspired by them. The project is on display on the Science notice board in school for the school community to view. Congratulations girls.
