“Making a Successful Transition to Third Level “

Catherine O’Connor, author of “Cracking the College Code” will talk to Mount Sackville parents/ guardians on Thursday 25th March 2021.

This talk is designed to inform parents on how to prepare our young people to face the challenges ahead as they transition from post-primary to college. Parents will get valuable insights and practical tips on how students can make informed choices, key to making the most of the college experience.

The pandemic has placed unforeseen pressures on educators and learners, as tuition and learning routines have altered and students need to adapt. Taking ownership of their own “learning journey” is a necessary requirement for third level students.

This talk by Catherine O’Connor on Thursday 25th at 19:30 will help ‘first-time’ parents of new students to manage expectations and give the best possible support to their children.
