This Thursday 25th February let's take part in "Ireland Reads", which is a national day of reading. All you need to do is go to the website below and pledge to read any book for your chosen number of minutes.
People all around Ireland will be reading that day, as well as our school community.
You can also download your bookmark here.
The idea is to promote wellbeing through reading during this pandemic. Reading is a great way to de-stress. Through reading, we leave our confined homes and share experiences with other people. Stories take us to other places and back again. Reading is a social activity that connects people.
Keep an eye on our school Twitter for updates.
Please contact Ms Scanlon if you would like her to recommend a book for you to read. There is also an area on the site which recommends books by age group and genre.
Happy reading!
