The Parents’ Association in conjunction with the Guidance Department at Mount Sackville organised mock interviews for our 5th year students. This year we were delighted to return to in-person interviews at the school, with the interviews being held over three mornings in March.
The students were provided with an opportunity to gain practical experience of preparing for and attending an actual interview plus they also received some valuable feedback from the interviewers delivered in a positive and supportive manner with over seventy 5th year students participating in the mock interviews.

Each day we had five interview panels which consisted of two parents in each panel with thirty parents volunteering to interview over three mornings. Our parents were most impressed by the girls in terms of their preparation, their interactions and participation at the interviews. Well done 5th years!
The Parents’ Association would like to thank all our interviewers who gave so generously of their time and without whose tremendous support this initiative would not be possible. Our thanks also to our organisers, the Guidance Department and also our Transition Year students for all their help thus ensuring the success of this year’s event.
