On Thursday, 26th October our 5th year students hosted the Trick or Treat Bake Sale to raise funds for the sick children in Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly. Together with Ms Conlon and Ms Targosz, they planned and promoted the event. Then they got baking to create some irresistible and delicious treats.

There was a huge array of baked goods from cookies and meringues and rocky roads to brownies and cupcakes, including gluten free bakes. The students were spoilt for choice and the goodies sold out in less than fifteen minutes.

A big thank you to Comerfoods Family Bakery and Fusco Connell Foods for donating Halloween buns and Haloween logs for the event.
The sale was a roaring success. There was flogging and bargaining all to the tune of Ghostbusters. We raised a smashing amount of €935.
Thank you to all the wonderful supporters - students and staff for their generous donations.
