Introduction to Looking at our School

Introduction to Looking at our School

In Mount Sackville we are wholly engaged with the School Self-Evaluation (SSE) process. We see this as a whole school endeavour and we work with the iterative SSE cycle to continuously evaluate and empower our practice. We engage with all members of our community to triangulate our findings and regularly dialogue with the Parents' Council and student voice on school projects. The student voice is front and central to all our SSE work and our students wellbeing is at the heart of all that we do. Our literacy, numeracy and AfL SSE strands permeate all subject areas and works to address areas in need of improvement and also to celebrate and maintain our areas of strength. In addition, we employ the SSE process when we look to our facilities and our grounds. This serves to promote a culture of school wide SSE and builds our sense of engaging with a critical friend. We are delighted to invite you to fill in our Google docs and encourage you to take part as we continue on the SSE journey.
